It is a priviledge for us to work with real woods, and never more so than with the most traditional of hardwoods, oak, the timber from which the Wooden Walls Of England were made and with which the walls of the Palace of Westminster are panelled.

The crown-cut veneers used in this bedroom accentuate the beautiful grain and the inset panels of pippy oak, complement the flowery grain with delicate, natural patterns.

Eschewing the fussiness often associated with oak furniture, we have used simple design aspects, such as bow fronts and inset glass panels to ensure that the natural beauty of the wood shines through.
