High Ceilings

With high ceilings Options can offer you a distinct advantage and can maximize your storage space.

Because most fitted bedroom manufacturers work with standard height doors, fitted wardrobes are normally 2.2 metres (7ft 3in)high; this is often adequate in a modern house.

The distance from the top of the wardrobes is often left open or filled with a fixed panel. However, if you have an older style house or a large modern one your ceilings may be much higher. Options make wardrobes up to 2.6 metres(8ft 6in)high. This will make full use of most ceilings, but if your ceilings are over 2.8 metres and you wish to use all that space Options can make exactly sized 'front frame's to give access to the very top.

Whatever your ceiling height, Options make the wardobes to within 100mm if the ceiling (for installation purposes) and finish off with a decorative cornice and a small infill panel.
