It really isn't that simple! Unlike other fitted furniture companies, Options does not have the simplistic concept of a range of doors in a limited selection of finishes, colours, handles and details such as glass inserts. Instead, we have price bands1 and a complex matrix of named door types (36 at the time of writing, but constantly evolving) with variable details such as stile2 widths and edge detail3 across six finishes4 in a choice of fourteen wood effects5, three foil & vinyl colours6, five 'house' coloured7 lacquers, about 2,000 special colours chosen from a paint maker's colour chart or eight types of hardwood8 most of which can be stained to an infinite number of shades (to match existing furniture or architectural detail, or to acheive a desired effect. Added to that, any of our door types can be installed in a satin lacquer and then finished on-site in a special 'hand paint' effect. All Options' doors are available with inserts of clear glass, coloured glass, patterned glass, mirrors or grillages. Also, any of our lacquered mdf or hardwood doors has the option of being installed as 'lay-on' or 'in-frame'9. That's the standard stuff - we also do 'specials'! And, this just refers to hinged doors; don't get me started on sliders! OK, now that you are seriously confused, please ask an Options designer to guide you through the maze or click here to see a limited selection of our most popular doors.
